The Hijack Khamelion in GTAV is the electric Grand Tourer you didn’t think you needed. Resembling mostly the Fisker Karma, the Hijack Khamelion is a stealth missile that breaks through the wind easier than a night of baked beans and Velveeta cheese.

Power

Its’s electric so you know the drill. Instant torque but a low top speed. The Hijack Khamelion runs out of steam much quicker than we hoped. It’s got plenty of grunt to get you around town, but it gets a bit concerning at highway speed. Put your foot down and it doesn’t have much else to give with it’s top speed detriment. It’s Top Ramen. It’s not bad. It’s not great, but it will get you through the day.

Handling

For a big grand tour machine, the Hijack Khamelion in GTAV handles itself in the corners very well. There’s virtually no under steer and it isn’t easily upset by imperfections on the surface. Unfortunately, electric cars are extremely heavy, and there’s no lack of representation in GTAV. Trying to get the back end to slide around is like asking your friend you don’t normally talk to borrow his truck for moving reasons. He’ll do it, but he won’t be smiling about it. The Hijack Khamelion will throw temper tantrums and mope around if you try to upset it on purpose. However, it is quite the fan of lift-off over steer. Turn in without any power and the back comes around like a crush that finally gave you a chance.

The Looks

The Hijack Khamelion in GTAV follows the classic sports car formula: long nose and short tail. There’s a long, unbroken line that starts from the front of the hood and runs down the length of the vehicle. The styling lines are few and purposeful. It easily makes the Khamelion one of the most attractive vehicles on sale today.

Upgrades

There really isn’t much in the way of upgrades for the Hijack Khamelion in GTAV. However, this is one of the few vehicles in GTAV I felt didn’t need any cosmetic upgrades added to it. It’s so attractive from the factory you don’t want to touch that gorgeous body. It would be the equivalent of putting A1 Steak sauce on a Wagyu steak. A good piece of meat never needs sauce. The usual engine modifications can be made but not much else sadly.

Value

The Hijack Khamelion will set you back $100,000 in GTAV. Compared to other luxury vehicles of this length that might as well be a fiver. That’s a whole lot of design for $100,000. It isn’t the fastest electric vehicle on the market, but it’s certainly one of the best looking.

Conclusion

The Hijack Khamelion isn’t for screaming around the canyons. It’s much too large and heavy for that. The acceleration tapers off rather quickly once off the line, so it isn’t really for drag racing either. However, the Hijack Khamelion is wonderful at two things: looking good and cruising slowly. Cruise along the strip among the shops, let the people see you, and continue in your electric bubble.
