The Grotti Carbonizzare, the perfect vehicle for letting people know you gross over $250K a year. You own this same vehicle in 3 different colors and have a summer home in the Caribbean. You’re currently renting your 150 foot Yacht to your closest business partners and have a G550 on order. Ah, it’s great to be alive. But what is this little dose of privilege like to drive?

Power

Flat plane crank V8 engines might be the sweetest sound since your boss saying, “We’re done for the day.” In this configuration it’s certainly no slouch. It has plenty of get up and go to get you out of sticky situations.

Handling

The Carbonizzare hangs onto corners like a hoarder on cleaning day. There’s plenty of grip but is very easy to slide when you so desire. The Grotti Carbonizzare is forgiving to a point, but it will bite you if you’re not paying attention.

How Does It Drive?

Once the top is down you can cruise through the streets of Los Santos like the rich playboy/girl you are. Although, you may find yourself a bit disappointed. Under normal driving conditions the quick throttle response quickly turns the Carbonizzare into a jerky mess in traffic. Unfortunately, the same goes for the steering. That quick rack is almost too quick in stop and go and makes lane changes feel as rushed as a dump in a crowded gas station bathroom. There is some good news though. The ride is firm but doesn’t upset the chassis too much over bumps.

The Looks

Who really cares how it drives. This thing is gorgeous. Exuberant and competent wrapped up in a tight little package. It sticks to the classic sports car formula of long nose and short tail. Weirdly, it looks just as good with the roof up as it does with it down. The red over tan is a very nice touch as well. Inside you’ll have a gauge cluster that very easy to read and the top goes down in a brisk 7 seconds, which isn’t too shabby.

Value

The Grotti Carbonizzare is certainly one of the more expensive 2-seater convertibles available in GTAV. It will set you back $195,000, which is a lot compared to it’s competitors. The Obey 9F Cabrio, Dewbauchee Rapid GT Topless, Benefactor Surano Convertible, and the Bravado Banshee Topless are all cheaper alternatives.

Conclusion

The Grotti Carbonizzare is a fabulous looking and performing grand tourer. However, all this luxury does come with a premium price. It doesn’t drastically outperform any of its competitors. In some cases, it’s even slower. So why are they charging $195,000? Simply because they can.
